Professional Services DevOps Consultant
London/Hybrid - £110,000 to £130,000 plus fantastic benefits & stock options
A fast-growing, global technology company at the forefront of DevOps and DevSecOps innovation, seeks an experienced Professional Services DevOps Consultant to partner directly with their most strategic customers to design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and DevOps platforms, leveraging modern tooling and cloud-native technologies.
* This organization works with some of the world's leading enterprises to accelerate, secure, and scale software delivery pipelines, supporting complex, cloud-native environments.
* You will play a key role in guiding customers through their DevOps transformation, from architecture design to hands-on implementation and best practices.
Key Responsibilities for the Professional Services DevOps Consultant position:
* Partner with enterprise customers to design and implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps platforms.
* Build and optimize pipelines using technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
* Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Support, and Engineering teams.
* Work closely with developers and DevOps teams to ensure successful adoption of solutions.
* Design and implement build and release pipelines across ecosystems (eg, Java, Node.js, Python).
* Deliver technical workshops, enablement sessions, and training to customers and communities.
* Provide feedback to product and engineering teams to help shape future roadmap and features.
* Stay current with emerging trends and technologies across DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-native ecosystems.
* Build strong, trusted relationships with customers and stakeholders.
Requirements for the Professional Services DevOps Consultant position:
* 7+ years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD, or related engineering roles.
* Strong experience with CI/CD tools and technologies such as Git, Jenkins, Maven, artifact repositories, and build systems.
* Hands-on experience building software delivery pipelines across multiple ecosystems (eg, Java, Node.js, Python).
* Solid understanding of infrastructure and operations (compute, networking, storage, security).
* Experience with configuration management and deployment tools (eg, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Kubernetes).
* Strong hands-on experience with Linux environments.
* Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
* Customer-facing experience with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience supporting both on-premise and cloud-based environments.
* Exposure to software architecture and system design is a plus.
* Strong learning mindset and passion for open-source technologies.
