Role
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Cost & Commercial Supplier Manager (Construction & Design).
Role Purpose
Manage and optimise third-party supplier costs for HSBC Real Estate Services (RES), ensuring alignment with contractual commitments and budgetary constraints while driving additional value. Oversight includes ~$250M in global operational (OpEx) and capital expenditure (CapEx) per annum, and engagement with ~1000 FTE across suppliers and internal teams.

Responsibilities
* Manage and optimise global supplier costs ensuring budget and contract compliance.
* Design and implement global cost management frameworks and allocation methodologies.
* Monitor supplier performance, contracts, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and escalate issues to senior stakeholders as needed.
* Identify and deliver cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or operational efficiency.
* Analyse financial and commercial data to support decision-making, reporting, and executive governance.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders on strategic supplier management.
Requirements
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

This role is based in Birmingham or Sheffield and the successful candidates will be expected to work a Hybrid week.
