We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Warehouse Manager who has experience within a Bonded Warehouse to join our clients site operating out of their site in Feltham What you'll be doing: Responsible for all activities and administration of the warehouse team covering rosters preps, appraisals, training, disciplinaries, risk assessments, H&S and Fire procedures Conduct daily briefings and have clear communication with the team to ensure all staff are aware of their responsibilities and team goals daily Coordinate and monitor the receipt, order, assembly and dispatch of the freight as per the standards set by the NG Terminal Ltd Management in conjunction with HMRC Compliance and ETSF bond procedures. Use warehouse space and mechanical handling equipment efficiently, making sure quality, budgetary targets and environmental objectives are met at all times and his team is trained to do the same Ability to implement, manage and measure the core activities of the warehouse department. Have a clear understanding of the NGT Company's policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these and ensure the warehouse team deliver the highest performance based on these policies and values. Manage and coordinate the use of automated and computerized NGT in-house systems as external ones, to manage the workflow and accountability of the inbound and outbound freight Implement a vehicle booking slots system for inbound/unloading and outbound/loadings to stagger the freight volumes and workflow during the day and avoid backlogs and congestion The ability to be able to operate efficiently in a busy and pressurized environment Experience Required: Level CO aviation and security Warehouse management experience of ETSF ETSF procedures and compliance Cargo manager / screening experience Forklift trained counterbalance or reach Have proven Customs Compliance knowledge ( BIFA / HMRC / CDS/ ASM / DESTIN8 / CNS/ CCS-UK/ NCTS/ EMCS/ GVMS) ETSF / BONDED / EXCISE 5 years of experience with Bonded/ETSF/Excise warehouse management is essential Hours: Monday - Friday day shifts between 9am-9pm, must be flexible Pay: £50,000 - £55,000 depending on experience.
