Role: Associate Project Engineer – AV Technology
Contract Type: Full‑time, Permanent
Location: Sunbury‑upon‑Thames (ideal), London, or hybrid/remote with travel to Kinly offices / customer sites as required.

The Associate Project Engineer role is designed as a platform to develop AV design knowledge, supported by training. You will be paired with a senior Project Architect, producing M&E drawings and supporting schematic documentation on complex projects, while independently handling lower‑complexity projects and progressing to more advanced work as experience grows.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce supporting design documentation as required by the Project Architect.
* Provide technical ownership for assigned projects throughout the project lifecycle.
* Verify that equipment sold is suitable for the final design.
* Produce build‑level design documentation: M&E drawings, schematic diagrams, rack layouts, architectural metalwork, schedules and technical registers.
Key Skills and Experience
* Passionate about technology and experienced in AV, or coming straight from an AV‑specific higher‑education course.
* Good understanding of video system fundamentals and technologies.
* Good understanding of audio system fundamentals and technologies.
* Good understanding of AV cabling and connectors.
* Good understanding of IT and networks.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent organisational skills.
* Good understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
* AutoCAD experience preferred.
