Senior Electrical Design Engineer – Building Services

Salary: 65k – 70k per annum
Are you an experienced Electrical Design Engineer seeking a dynamic opportunity to showcase your skills in building services? My client are seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to contribute their expertise to the diverse portfolio of large–scale residential and hotel building projects.
Responsibilities:
– Lead the electrical design process for residential building projects, from concept through to completion, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and client requirements.
– Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated engineering solutions that prioritize energy efficiency, sustainability, and cost–effectiveness.
– Conduct detailed electrical calculations, simulations, and analysis to optimize system performance and reliability.
– Prepare comprehensive design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and technical reports, to communicate project requirements effectively.
– Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering their professional development and growth within the organization.
Requirements:
– Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
– Proven experience in electrical design engineering within the building services sector, with a focus on residential projects.
– Proficiency in industry–standard design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and ETAP.
– Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations governing building construction.
– Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to diverse stakeholders.
– Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
– Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartered status is desirable.
