MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR (Production/Manufacturing/Factory based)
Our client is looking to expand their maintenance team and have an opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor reporting directly to the Mechanical Maintenance Manager.
Responsibilities
* Ensuring maintenance employees apply safe working practices.
* Develop safe Systems of Work for maintenance tasks.
* Ensure asset's are maintained in a safe condition.
* Ensure environmental equipment is properly maintained.
* Conduct regular safety meetings.
* Develop and manage people resource plan.
* Pro‑active maintenance, including predictive and conditioned based tools.
* Root cause analysis.
* Assess spare parts requirements.
* Control use of contract labour.
* Technical troubleshooting.
* Manage maintenance contractor spending for the business area within budget.
Skills / Knowledge
* Candidate should demonstrate safety awareness and working knowledge of policy, standards and beliefs, ensuring same is present with colleagues.
* Maintain safe environment.
* Be aware of environmental/H&S issues, and ensuring systems are in place to deal with any issues.
* Preference will be given to mechanical qualifications.
* Preference will be given to candidates with a manufacturing/production experience - preferable factory based.
* Preference will be given to candidates who live around the Inverness area.
Excellent salary is offered to the right candidate. This is a permanent position, interviews are being arranged shortly, hours are 40 hours per week Monday to Friday with the requirement for additional hours worked during maintenance shutdowns as required.
