Class 1 (C+E) Driver - Blackburn & Surrounding Areas

We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to provide ad-hoc cover for a range of well-established general haulage clients in the Blackburn and surrounding areas.
This opportunity is perfect for professional, flexible drivers looking for ongoing, ad-hoc work covering holiday, sickness, and peak-period demand, with a competitive hourly rate and weekly pay.

The Role:
* Driving Class 1 (C+E) vehicles for general haulage work
* Day shifts, usually starting between 05:00-07:00
* Ad-hoc cover for holidays, sickness, and busy periods
* Trunking and local deliveries (depending on client)
* Conducting daily vehicle checks and ensuring load security
* Completing delivery paperwork accurately and efficiently
* Maintaining high standards of professionalism and safety

* £15.50 per hour (PAYE)
* Day shifts - start times around 05:00-07:00
* Ad-hoc work with potential for repeat bookings
* Weekly pay and full support from our transport team

Requirements:
* Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
* Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
* Minimum 6-12 months' Class 1 experience (general haulage preferred)
* No more than 6 penalty points (no DD/DR/IN endorsements)
