In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design and management of complex, high-value procurement solutions tailored to specific business needs. You will act as a strategic advisor, working closely with internal stakeholders to translate detailed requirements into commercially sound contracts. Your work will involve navigating regulatory frameworks, managing risk, and leveraging market insights to ensure that bespoke procurement initiatives deliver maximum value, compliance, and innovation.
Requirements
* You will have the ability to see the bigger picture, align procurement with business strategy, and make commercially sound decisions in complex scenarios.
* You'll be skilled in negotiating high-value, high-risk contracts with a focus on win-win outcomes, long-term value, and risk mitigation.
* Knowledge of procurement principles, contract law, category management, and supplier performance management, especially in bespoke or non-standard contexts.
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to influence, challenge, and collaborate with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
* Strong capability to analyse complex requirements, assess supplier capabilities, and develop creative procurement solutions.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment where requirements evolve and bespoke solutions are the norm.
* Familiar with e-procurement platforms, contract management systems, and data analytics tools to support decision-making and reporting.
Benefits
Salary: £37,000-£45,000 per annum (pro rata)
