Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across the care home, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our residents and staff alike. Duties
* Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas
* Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces to high standards
* Dispose of waste appropriately and ensure recycling procedures are followed
* Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any issues or shortages promptly
* Restock toiletries and consumables as required in bathrooms and kitchens
* Follow health and safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or contamination
* Assist with specialised cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning or window washing when needed
* Support other team members with additional duties to ensure efficient operations
Requirements
* Previous experience in janitorial, commercial cleaning, or hotel housekeeping is advantageous
* Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures
* Strong attention to detail with organisational skills
* Good physical stamina to perform manual tasks throughout the shift
* Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within allocated periods
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
* Nice-to-have skills include cooking, customer service experience, or specific hotel or commercial cleaning expertise
