Overview
Our valued client in Warwick is looking to recruit a Stores Person to join them on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities
* Keeping accurate stock records of parts and materials
* Preparing stock hold forecasting reports
* Monitor stock turnover, identifying excess or obsolete inventory
* Assist in preparing financial reports, monthly and quarterly
* Raise and manage purchase orders on stock forecasts
* Supplier liaison
* Store audits
* Temperature control monitoring
* COSHH regulations compliance
* Shortage reports
* Receiving and despatching goods
* Working with transport providers
* Customs/Import/Export compliance
* Liaising with Freight Forwarders and Customs Brokers
Skills and Experience Required
* Previous experience in a Stores/Inventory role
* Familiarity with customs documentation and shipping practices
* COSHH regulations and Health and Safety standards
* ERP or warehouse management system desirable
* Microsoft Excel and other office applications
* FLT preferred
Due to the nature of the business, the successful candidate will be required to obtain a DBS.
