Description
As a Water Pressure Tester, you will test, chlorinate and commission water infrastructure. Working to a high standard and codes of best practice, you will ensure that all work is undertaken to a high standard of safety and technical quality by following all appropriate generic and specific method statements, work procedures and safety instructions.
Key Responsibilities
You will have a full and comprehensive understanding of, chlorinating and sampling procedures
You will ensure vehicles, plant and equipment remain clean, in good condition, and report any defects to the Project Manager
You will identify at an early stage all contract variations and report to the Project Manager and work in accordance with the company Variation and Deviations Procedure
You will complete site-specific risk assessments daily and ensure maintenance of a safe working environment
You will attend "toolbox talks" and other training courses as required
You will record accurately details of work undertaken
You will submit relevant work details for recording in the required timescale
You will collect and deliver water samples to approved locations within the relevant timescales
Experience and Qualifications
Experience of chlorinating and testing of mains from a diameter of 63mm to 355mm
NRSWA certificate for operatives
EUSR Water Hygiene
EUSR SHEA Water
Experience of Water Mains Testing, Chlorinating and Sampling
Full valid driving licence
Disinfection of Water Mains Qualification
