About the Opportunity
We are working with a rapidly growing advisory and venture‑focused organisation supporting high‑growth businesses across global markets. They assist companies with international expansion, capital raising, and strategic projects—and are now seeking a highly analytical Data & Strategy Analyst to join their team.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex problems, working with data, and turning technical information into clear, practical insight. You will work closely with senior leadership and gain exposure to live transactions, market research, and strategic development projects from day one.
Key Responsibilities
Research & Analysis
* Build analytical models in Python to evaluate markets, sectors, and investment opportunities
* Handle incomplete datasets and extract reliable insights
* Conduct structured research to support due diligence
* Produce clear reports and data‑led recommendations
Deal Support
* Assist in preparing investor materials, pitch decks, and financial summaries
* Assess early‑stage and growth‑stage companies across multiple regions
* Support competitor analysis, market sizing, and risk assessments
Internal Tools & Modelling
* Develop computational tools to improve research workflows
* Build simulations, forecasting models, and regression analyses
* Improve internal data organisation and automate repetitive tasks
Strategy & Execution
* Contribute to global market entry and expansion projects
* Identify opportunities for efficiency, growth, and optimisation
* Translate complex findings into simple, actionable insights
Candidate Profile
Analytical & Technical
* Strong mathematical background (Astrophysics, Mathematics, Physics, or similar)
* Proficient in Python for modelling, data analysis, and visualisation
* Solid understanding of statistics, optimisation, and working with imperfect datasets
* Confident using Excel, research tools, and writing technical summaries
Soft Skills
* Clear, concise communicator
* Strong ability to simplify complex ideas
* Self‑driven, disciplined, and comfortable working at speed
* Able to handle pressure and deadlines
Desirable
* MATLAB experience
* Time spent in research‑intensive environments
* Interest in venture capital, global markets, or strategy
