Contract: 18-month Fixed Term Contract (maternity cover)
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
OA are recruiting for a Supply Chain Administrator to join our clients HVAC business based in Welwyn Garden City.

Role Summary:
Manage outbound flows from the warehouse to various destination countries. Coordinate closely with sales teams, warehouse providers, and forwarders to ensure smooth distribution in line with expectations. Implement controls to optimise end-to-end supply chain performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Respond to logistics inquiries from sales colleagues and customers, ensuring seamless delivery.
* Process and coordinate customer book-ins, scheduling deliveries for on-time arrival.
* Track inquiries until resolution and maintain detailed records.
* Translate requests from sales teams and customers into logistics and system requirements. Coordinate with third-party warehouse and transport providers, including forecasting, load planning, and processing advisory tasks.
* Provide accurate and up-to-date shipment status information by checking various sources and direct contact with forwarders.
* Maintain reporting with shipment data, including ETAs, ATAs, and non-conformities for performance measurement.
* Handle return inquiries and oversee the process until goods are received back at the warehouse, ensuring customers receive proper credit. Process claims against third-party logistics providers using the SAP Claim Handling System.
* Ensure cost-effectiveness in all contracts and purchasing within the department. Seek opportunities for cost reduction through efficiency and automation.
Skills & Experience:
* Formal education in logistics or equivalent working experience.
* Proficient in using ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle).
* Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, including MS Teams, SharePoint, and Outlook.
* Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP formulas and pivot tables.
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
* High attention to detail, with a drive for innovation and flexibility.
