About the role As a Teaching Assistant in our reception class, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils’ learning and development, working closely under the guidance of class teachers and senior staff. Your responsibilities will be to: provide one-to-one support to pupils, helping them engage fully with learning activities assist small groups and individuals with tasks and activities tailored to their needs supporting classroom preparation and creating an inviting, stimulating learning environment maintain records of pupil progress and behaviour to inform teaching strategies help to ensure the safety and wellbeing of pupils in line with safeguarding policies participate in school events, trips, and playground supervision. may be required to cover some lunchtime duties.
