Description Location: St-Leonards-On-Sea Full time salary: £33,951 per year Hours: 30 - 37 hours per week available Rostered hours including working evenings and bank holidays Contract: Fixed term contract until 31 March 2026 What you’ll be doing: Southdown is one of the leading providers of mental health, housing and care services in Sussex. Our Staying Well Service, provides out-of-hours, walk-in crisis support for adults aged 18 who are experiencing mental health distress. Open seven days a week, 365 days a year, the service offers a safe, non-clinical and welcoming environment where people can come for immediate emotional support and short-term help to reduce crisis. As a Team Manager you’ll be part of a compassionate, multi-skilled team offering one-to-one and group support, safety planning, and practical guidance. You’ll build respectful, trusting relationships with individuals during moments of vulnerability, helping them feel heard, understood, and more in control. Working alongside health and community partners, you’ll play an important role in reducing avoidable hospital admissions and helping people take positive steps forward. Knowledge, skills and experience What you’ll need for the role: You’ll have experience working with people with mental health needs. You have a good understanding of local NHS and other support services. The ability to lead a team and support clients You’re experienced in using techniques to motivate and support people effectively A standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which will be paid for by Southdown Training:You’ll receive a comprehensive induction followed up with regular training from our award winning in house team.
