Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and inspiring Year 6 Class Teacher to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Doncaster. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced practitioner or a strong ECT with a passion for KS2 and a commitment to helping pupils achieve their full potential—particularly in preparation for SATs.
The Role
As the Year 6 Class Teacher, you will:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum
* Prepare pupils effectively for end-of-year SATs
* Create a positive, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment
* Use assessment to inform teaching and track progress
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and leadership
* Maintain excellent communication with parents and carers
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum, particularly Year 6 expectations
* A proven track record of raising attainment (experience with SATs is desirable)
* Outstanding behaviour management and classroom organisation
* A warm, caring, and resilient approach
