Your new roleAs a Land & Development Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the strategic growth of the organisation. Working closely with the development team, you will be responsible for identifying, analysing, and evaluating new development opportunities across Northern Ireland.
Key responsibilities will include:
1. Identifying and assessing potential housing development sites through market research, networking, and land sourcing strategies
2. Conducting initial site appraisals, including planning policy reviews, site constraints analysis, and development potential
3. Reviewing mapping data, GIS systems, and spatial planning tools to identify land opportunities
4. Evaluating the financial viability of development projects through detailed financial modelling
5. Preparing and maintaining development appraisals, including cost estimates, revenue projections, and funding assumptions
6. Monitoring housing market trends and identifying areas of demand across Northern Ireland
7. Assessing and mitigating risks associated with development projects
8. Collaborating with internal stakeholders across finance, legal, and project delivery teams
What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
9. A degree in Property, Planning, Construction Management, Finance, or a related discipline
10. Proven experience in financial analysis and modelling, ideally within the property or housing sector
11. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
12. Experience using Excel and financial modelling tools
13. Knowledge of the NI property market and planning environment (desirable)
14. Strongmunication skills and the ability to present data-driven insights
