About the Role:
A welcoming primary school in the S81 area is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team on a short-term basis. This role is ideal for someone with experience in nursery or early years settings, who can support young children with their learning and development in a nurturing environment.
Responsibilities:
* Support the Nursery Teacher in delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities.
* Provide care and supervision to children, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
* Encourage children's social, emotional, and educational development.
* Assist with classroom organisation, resources, and routines.
* Work closely with staff to support individual learning needs.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in Early Years or Nursery setting.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 in Childcare, Supporting Teaching & Learning, or equivalent).
* A caring, patient, and positive approach to working with young children.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Enhanced DBS check on the update service
Contract Details:
* Duration: 17th – 26th September 2025 (cover role).
* Hours: Standard school hours (approx. 8:30am – 3:30pm)
Job Types: Temporary, Temp to perm, Graduate
Pay: £97.68-£120.00 per day
