Overview
Care Assistant – Days & Nights at Harbour Healthcare in Harrogate (HG1 4SR). Pay £13.24 per hour. This is a bank contract position within a family‑run group of 41 care homes across the UK. While prior experience is not required, the role offers on‑the‑job training and opportunities to obtain qualifications in health and social care.
Responsibilities
The duties vary daily. Residents are individuals deserving personalised care. Typical responsibilities include:
* Supporting personal care needs (hygiene, dressing, nutrition).
* Assisting with safe mobility and positioning.
* Enabling participation in a wide range of activities that support health and wellbeing, such as arts and crafts, watching football, drama, musical evenings, gardening, shopping trips and social occasions.
* Promoting dignity, respect and peace of mind for families.
Qualifications & Eligibility
No formal qualifications or previous experience are required, but the role offers:
