Overview
The Job People are recruiting for a Production Planner based in Leamington Spa to start ASAP within the Manufacturing and Production industry. This is a full-time, long-term role that may lead to a permanent contract after a qualifying period.
Working Hours & Pay
Monday to Friday, 8am – 4.30pm. Pay from £14.00 per hour, with overtime paid at 1.5× rate. Ongoing work with opportunity to go permanent after 12 weeks.
Qualifications & Experience
* Full driving licence – you will be required to drive a company vehicle on a day‑to‑day basis.
* Previous experience in production planning.
* Knowledge of machine operation.
* Computer literacy.
* English reading, writing and speaking skills.
* Ability to run various machines and production lines.
Responsibilities
* Support the smooth day‑to‑day running of the production ink rooms.
* Ensure jobs assigned for the week have sufficient ink and stock.
* Use the in‑house planner to view weekly jobs, ensure stock availability, and travel between three local sites to top up machine stock.
* Check stock levels and order materials as needed.
* Adhere to health and safety rules on site.
* Progress to learn several machines within the factory.
* Support other areas when required, including checking deliveries, helping on the production line, and general housekeeping.
* Work unsupervised where required and be a great communicator.
* Forward‑thinking and well‑organised.
