Our key aim is to deliver exceptional education and support for children and young people identified as having ASD and other categories of Special Educational Need. As a member of Bright Fields School, you will have the opportunity to create and deliver an individualised curriculum, inspiring students to achieve their dreams
What do we need:
Qualifications
* PGCE/QTS Certificate
* Degree or equivalent
* Driving licence is essential
* Additional SEND training desirable
Management & Organisational Skills
* Strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to manage student behaviour effectively and demonstrate a commitment to providing pastoral care.
Partnership & Community Engagement
* Proven experience working collaboratively with parents, community organisations, and stakeholders to support students with diverse and complex needs.
Knowledge
* Understanding of equality of opportunity, safeguarding, child protection, and inclusion issues within an SEN setting.
Problem-Solving
* Ability to quickly identify and address challenges faced by students, ensuring appropriate follow-up and support for their individual needs.
Communication
* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, tailored to engage effectively with students, parents/carers, stakeholders and colleagues.
Experience
* Experience teaching across Primary and/or Secondary age range, with a proven track record as a creative and adaptable teacher who inspires and motivates students. Familiarity with virtual learning environments is desirable.
