About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Mechanical Commissioning Manager to join a pharmaceutical build project in Hull on a 3‑month contract. This role requires someone who can hit the ground running, take ownership of mechanical commissioning deliverables, and support a fast‑moving project environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage mechanical commissioning activities on a live pharmaceutical construction project.
2. Oversee mechanical systems commissioning, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
3. Interface with BMS teams (experience with BMS commissioning preferred).
4. Ensure all QA documentation is completed, maintained, and correctly filed.
5. Work closely with construction, engineering, and client teams to ensure seamless handover.
6. Manage mechanical instrumentation checks, verification, and testing.
7. Identify issues, troubleshoot effectively, and drive resolutions.
Skills & Experience Required
8. Immediate availability (essential).
9. Strong background in mechanical commissioning, ideally within pharmaceutical, cleanroom, biotech, or similar regulated environments.
10. Experience with BMS integration/commissioning (preferred).
11. Solid understanding of QA processes, documentation, and industry compliance.
12. Competent with mechanical instrumentation, verification, and functional testing.
13. Able to work on a fast‑paced project with multiple stakeholders.
