We’re seeking an experienced, strategic, and data-driven Site Manager to lead the growth of Freebets.com, a prominent sports betting affiliate in the UK.
This role involves leading content, SEO, and brand strategy to make Freebets.com a trusted resource for sports bettors. You will work cross-functionally with CRO, Product, Design, PR, Social, and Email teams to enhance authority, relevance, and conversions across all user touchpoints.
Responsibilities:
1. Own and develop the site vision and roadmap, enhancing content, SEO, and branding performance.
2. Build Freebets.com into a trusted and recognizable brand in sports betting through quality, helpful, and expert content.
3. Implement impactful SEO strategies that scale internationally and adapt to SERP and user intent changes.
4. Make data-driven decisions by analyzing performance, identifying opportunities, and adjusting tactics to increase traffic, engagement, and revenue.
5. Collaborate with PR, Social, and Email teams to amplify the brand and maintain a consistent voice across channels.
6. Partner with Product, Design, and CRO teams to improve user journeys, test new ideas, and deliver seamless, high-converting experiences.
7. Ensure all content meets high editorial standards and Google’s E-E-A-T guidelines, setting Freebets.com apart with original and user-focused experiences.
8. Develop monetization strategies, including promotional content, call-to-actions, and campaign planning with commercial teams.
9. Manage, mentor, and grow a high-performing team across editorial, SEO, and content production.
10. Shape the future of a major affiliate brand with strong foundations and global ambitions.

Requirements:
1. Proven experience in senior content or SEO leadership within top affiliate, publisher, or betting brands.
2. A brand-builder’s mindset with a history of transforming content sites into trusted destinations.
3. Track record of delivering YoY organic traffic and conversion growth.
4. Deep understanding of Google's organic ecosystem, affiliate models, and effective content strategies.
5. Experience working with cross-functional teams across commercial, creative, tech, and marketing areas.
6. Strong knowledge of sports and betting audiences, from casual to high-intent players.
7. Comfort with data tools and analytics platforms (GA4, Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush, etc.) and translating insights into actions.
8. Leadership skills with a results-driven, team-first approach.
9. Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
10. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience & Education:
1. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, Business, or related field.
2. 5+ years of experience, preferably in gambling, betting, or gaming industries.
