THE ROLE
The business is looking for a people-focussed candidate. You will work a team of operatives who are responsible for the despatch of their products. Working closely with the production manager you will ensure tasks are carried out safely and efficiently. Some of your responsibilities will include:
6. Operating a variety of digital printing machines
7. Comfortable in receiving instructions from department supervisor
8. Willing and able to work on your own initiative or as part of a team
9. Assisting in maintaining and servicing all machines and equipment within the department
10. Looking at daily & weekly job files to ensure all items are produced on time and ready for delivery or installation
11. Ensure that all items produced are consistent with company goals for quality and customer time frames
12. Monitor quality standards and processes are always met and used
13. Ensure Health & Safety guidelines are met to assure a safe working environment
14. General housekeeping within the department
THE PERSON
This role is ideal for you to get a fantastic work-life balance and develop a long-term career. The successful candidate must
15. Have experience within a manufacturing environment
16. Working within the print industry would be beneficial, however this isn’t essential
17. Hold a driving license with own transport
18. Flexible to work weekends where needed to meet business demands
