As we continue to expand and innovate, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sous or Chef de Partie (looking to progress) to join our team and uphold our reputation for excellence.

Position Overview: As Sous Chef, you will work closely with our Head Chef to oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency are maintained at all times. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated culinary professional to contribute to the success of our establishment and showcase your culinary skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The on target earning for this role is £35,840 per annum - comprising a base salary of £32,840 plus a qualified estimate of £3,000 in gratuities and service charge. As a member of the team, you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks, benefits and rewards.

Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and execute creative menus that showcase seasonal ingredients and cater to the preferences of our guests.
* Supervise and motivate kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed to ensure adherence to recipes, cooking techniques, and sanitation standards.
* Assist in the management of inventory, ordering, and receiving of food and supplies, ensuring optimal levels are maintained while minimizing waste.
* Monitor kitchen operations during service hours, proactively addressing any issues or challenges that may arise to maintain efficiency and guest satisfaction.
* Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, upholding all sanitation and safety standards in accordance with local health regulations.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of new culinary initiatives, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and innovation.

Requirements :

* Proven experience working in a high-volume kitchen environment, preferably in a similar role as a Sous Chef or Chef de Partie.
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively motivate and mentor kitchen staff.
* Comprehensive knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and cooking methods, with a passion for creativity and innovation.
* Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and delegate responsibilities effectively.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a positive attitude and attention to detail.
