Operations Team Leader – Nights
Location: Bromsgrove
Hours: Monday-Thursday, 9pm-06.30am

As a Team Leader – Operations (Nights), you'll manage a team of 15–20 manufacturing and cleaning staff to ensure safety, quality, and performance targets are met. You'll also deputise for the Night Shift Manager, taking control of the night shift when required. You'll play a key role in maintaining cleanroom standards, ensuring smooth operations, and driving a culture of continuous improvement across your area.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, motivate, and support your team to deliver consistent performance across safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
* Manage day-to-day employee matters including absence, discipline, performance, and development.
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and statutory requirements.
* Maintain accurate data in IFS for production monitoring and performance reporting.
* Coordinate with other teams to ensure cleanroom capacity and material requirements are met.
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement, applying tools such as 5S, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing.
* Support training initiatives to ensure all team members are skilled, competent, and confident in their roles.
About You
* Proven experience in leading and developing teams in a manufacturing environment (minimum 2 years).
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Able to motivate others and foster a positive, inclusive team culture.
* Computer literate, with good attention to detail and organisational skills.
* NEBBS / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification (ILM Level 3 desirable).
