Staff Partners are currently looking for Community District Nurses (RGN Band 5) with a passion for delivering outstanding care. The role is based around Salisbury.
Whether you are looking for block bookings, full-time, part-time, or ad hoc bookings, we can offer flexible options. The pay rate is up to £30 per hour.
Main Duties
* Provide compassionate and competent care to patients and service users based on current evidence of best practice.
* Promote health and healing through observing, monitoring well-being, and evaluating the effectiveness of the care provided.
* Ensure patients' needs are met by liaising with multidisciplinary team members including specialist nurses, doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and social workers, as well as overseeing healthcare assistants, nursing associates, and students.
* Safeguard patients.
* Provide updates to colleagues, family members of patients, and carers.
You will have…
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to be a good team player.
* The sensitivity and energy required to provide trusting care for patients.
* A genuine desire to make a real difference in people’s lives.
* Experience working in a community hospital setting.
* A car driver’s license – required for community visits.
