Duties of the Vehicle Technician include:
14. Conducting comprehensive vehicle diagnostics and repairs
15. Servicing cars to manufacturer standards
16. Carrying out vehicle inspections and MOT tests (where qualified)
17. Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards
18. Maintaining comprehensive records of work completed
19. Providing excellent customer service and rapport
20. Keeping up-to-date with technical advancements and industry regulations
Criteria for the Vehicle Technician role:
21. Full valid driving licence
22. NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Automotive Technology, City & Guilds or equivalent
23. Previous experience as an automotive technician in a dealership environment
24. MOT testing qualification (desirable)
25. Ability to work overtime at short notice when required
26. Excellent attention to detail and technical knowledge
27. Ability to uphold high standards of customer service and product quality
