About the role We have a new opportunity for a Groundworker to join our Guinness Property team to deliver high standards of flagging, fencing, drainage and general grounds maintenance, ensuring that a customer focused service is delivered. This is a full time, permanent role, covering various location within Havant working 39 hours per week Monday – Friday. The successful candidate will live in/near Havant to be able to reach our customer locations in a timely manner. You must have a full UK driving licence and there is a requirement for a basic DBS check which will be paid for by The Guinness Partnership. We are looking for a motivated individual who: Has the skills and experience to enable the completion of repairs at the first visit (first time fix). Can deal with the removal of debris and carry out minor brickwork. Provide accurate working information on operational activities, electronically or otherwise, in accordance with legislative and company requirements and procedures. Ensure all plant and equipment is fully functional, appropriately maintained and certificated with defects reported and waste materials disposed of correctly. Support the protection and safety of our customers by ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed and safeguarding concerns are appropriately identified, monitored, and reported. Work in a customer focused environment within agreed performance targets. Work methodically, follow agreed procedures and accurately record data and information. Ability to carry out physical tasks in accordance with Health and Safety guidelines. Essential qualifications: NVQ Level 2 (City & Guilds) Groundwork and General Construction Qualification or equivalent recognised competency in the required trade.
