An exciting opportunity has arisen at Trinity Farm, Cossall. As a popular daytime farm shop Café, we are now looking to expand our menu by offering an evening meal service.
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team to drive this side of the business forward, by creating and implementing a brand new evening menu along with maintaining the daytime running of the kitchen. The role is full time, covering Friday, Saturday & Sunday on a split shift basis.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and preparation, with experience in a restaurant environment. As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional dishes while supervising kitchen staff and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety are maintained. Your leadership skills will be essential in fostering a collaborative and efficient kitchen atmosphere.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth food production and preparation processes.
Create innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
Supervise and train kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills.
Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.
Collaborate with the management team to ensure that all dishes meet quality standards.
Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
Foster a positive team culture, encouraging collaboration and communication among kitchen staff.
Skills
As head chef you must have excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive "can do" attitude.
Proven experience in food production and preparation within a restaurant setting.
Strong leadership abilities with experience in supervising kitchen teams.
Excellent culinary skills with a passion for creating quality dishes.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organisational skills, with attention to detail in food presentation and safety practices.
Good communication skills to effectively manage team dynamics.
A proactive, positive approach to problem-solving and decision-making within the kitchen.
