What you’ll be doing:
As a Billing Assistant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient billing operations. You’ll work closely with various teams across the business, providing support in a wide range of billing tasks and will build strong relationships along the way. Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the end-to-end billing process, from preparing invoices to finalising payments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies
* Manage a personal portfolio of clients, building relationships and addressing any billing queries with a high standard of customer service
* Collaborate with internal teams, including Accounts Receivable and Credit Control, to ensure smooth processing and prompt payment of invoices
* Handle complex billing scenarios and resolve any discrepancies quickly and effectively
* Log amendments and adjustments accurately for audit purposes, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and industry standards
* Continuously evaluate billing processes and contribute ideas to improve efficiency and productivity
* Assist in month-end reporting by preparing billing data for senior management, providing insights into trends and key metrics
