Role Overview
The Quality Engineer will play a vital role in ensuring product and process quality meets internal and external standards. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will lead quality initiatives, drive continuous improvement, and help maintain compliance with industry regulations and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes and systems.
* Conduct root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for non-conformances.
* Monitor and report on key quality metrics and KPIs.
* Collaborate with design, production, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues.
* Support internal and external audits (e.g., ISO 9001, customer audits).
* Review and approve manufacturing documentation and process changes.
* Train staff in quality principles and company standards.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a quality role within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
* Strong knowledge of quality standards and methodologies (e.g., ISO 9001, FMEA, 8D, SPC).
* Experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques.
* Six Sigma Experience
* Experience with APQP, PPAP, and MSA.
* Familiarity with customer-specific requirements in sectors such as automotive, aerospace, or medical
