Mobile Plant and Weighbridge Operator
* Rotating Shift Pattern (6am-2pm/2pm-10pm, 40 hours per Week)

Based in Carlise and reporting to our Primary Production Manager, you’ll play an active role in site security and traffic management and will liaise with drivers and the site management team to ensure that the correct loads are received from supply contracts on time. You will also be responsible for a variety of duties across the log yard, both as a team and individually.
Responsibilities
* Operation of the weighbridge: booking in/out sawn goods, logs and coproducts as well as controlling incoming site traffic movements.
* Collating and reporting data pertaining to the receipt and despatch of raw materials, such as logs, and finished goods, coming on and off the Cargo site.
* Checking and confirming FSC status of raw materials being delivered to site, ensuring that sustainability standards are maintained.
* Directing hauliers to follow the correct traffic routes around the site and liaising with teams across the site to ensure smooth traffic management.
* Ensuring all associated paperwork is processed accurately.
* Movement of logs using Volvo with log grab (full training provided).
* Unloading of log wagons.
About you
* We’re seeking a highly attentive and organised individual, with prior experience operating weighbridge(s), or a fast-paced administration role. In addition, you’ll have:
* Excellent IT Skills, across Microsoft packages.
* A high-level of communication skills, allowing you to effectively interact with drivers, suppliers, managers, and staff at all levels.
* Imperial and metric understanding.
* High degree of numeracy and literacy skills.
* A committed, motivated, and enthusiastic approach.
