Job Summary:
The Construction Engineer role will support the Lead Construction Engineer in the development and delivery of this critical component of the programme, ensuring scope, schedule, and quality requirements are met safely and efficiently.
Major Responsibilities:
:
Leads constructability reviews, optimises construction sequencing, logistics, and methodology.
:
Coordinate with engineering and design consultants to ensure construction requirements are reflected in design deliverables.
:
Support the development of site layouts, temporary works strategies, logistics and phasing plans for construction in a live operational environment.
:
Leads development of overall construction execution plans, staffing strategies, and resource estimates.
:
Collaborate with Procurement and Supply Chain to develop construction packaging and delivery strategies.
:
Ensure health, safety, and environmental (HSE) considerations are embedded in all aspects of design and planning.

Review and monitor implementation of robust quality control plans during design and construction phases.
:
Maintain awareness of design evolution, scope changes, and their potential impacts on construction methods, costs, and schedules.

Coordinates with Construction Management on contract administration and activities affecting contract administration operation.

Reviews project control documents for cost estimates, budgets, risk assessments, and reviews progress reporting for construction scope against these documents

Provide guidance and mentorship to assigned project and field personnel, promoting a culture of safety, collaboration, and excellence.
