Candour Talent are recruiting a Production Operative to join their client’s team in Port Talbot.
* Employment Type: Full Time/Permanent
* Working Hours: 3-shift pattern (mornings, afternoons, nights), may be required to work a continental shift pattern at a higher shift allowance (4on, 4off)
* Salary: £33 – 35k (Basic rate + Shift Allowance)
Our client is looking for a reliable and hard-working Production Operative to join their team on a permanent basis.
This role would suit a self-motivated individual with previous experience in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.
The Role:
* Set machinery and use handheld instruments to manufacture (full training provided)
* Work to specified dimensions and to the correct quality and quantity
* Complete and record quality checks
* Follow the production schedule
* Keep track of materials to ensure no disruption to production
* Basic machine maintenance
* Work as part of a team
The Ideal Candidate:
* Previous experience in a fast-moving manufacturing environment
* Good standard of basic education
* Further vocational qualifications, an advantage
* Able to work in an organised manner
* Able to follow H&S regulations
