Band 6 Team Lead - West Somerset District Nurses

This opportunity is for Surgical or Medical Nurses across Somerset, with options to work at Musgrove Park Hospital, Yeovil District Hospital, and community hospitals—your preference!

Main Duties of the Job
Provide and maintain high standards of evidence-based, patient-centered care. Demonstrate good interpersonal skills and develop practical skills within the specialty, reflecting the philosophy of care. Deliver daily patient care using departmental systems for multidisciplinary, patient-involved care, aligning with the Trust’s patient and public involvement strategy. Experienced Band 5 post holders will also provide clinical and managerial leadership in the absence of senior staff, empowering team members to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered nursing care.

Qualifications
* Registered Nurse
* Specialist Practitioner, District Nurse degree (or equivalent)
* Nurse Prescriber mode one
* Extended/Supplementary Prescriber
* Leadership course or willingness to undertake one
Experience
* Substantial community nursing experience
* Proven clinical and managerial leadership

Salary: £38,682 to £46,580 per year for team leader covering various shifts.
