Yolk Recruitment is working with a leading organisation to recruit an experienced HR Advisor on a 12-month fixed term contract to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Role Overview
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and collaborative HR team, providing generalist HR support across a wide range of areas. You’ll play a key role in delivering effective HR services, supporting managers, and helping to drive engagement and continuous improvement across the business. You will provide expert advice and guidance on employee relations, absence management, performance, and recruitment, while supporting HR Business Partners with day-to-day operations and key people initiatives.
Location and Salary
South Wales (Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days home)
£35,000 per annum
12-Month Fixed Term Contract | 9-Day Fortnight
Responsibilities
* Providing generalist HR advice and support to managers and employees
* Managing employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, and sickness absence
* Supporting end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes
* Partnering with HR Business Partners on key projects and initiatives
* Promoting best practice and consistency across all HR processes
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within a busy or complex environment
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* A collaborative approach with the ability to influence and support at all levels
* Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
* Adaptability and resilience, with a focus on continuous improvement
