Role: Bookkeeper
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours
Rate: £28,000 - £32,000
Location; Based at either Ilkley or Bingley Offices
Core duties for Bookkeeper:
balancing and maintaining accurate ledgers
matching purchase orders to invoices
monitoring expenses and tallying cash receipts
paying vendor invoices
monitor bank account balances
prepare financial statements
oversee profit and loss, cash flow and balance sheets
assist with payroll
pre-payments and accruals
set up supplier and customer accounts
deal with customer queries
provide support on client premises visits
Experience needed for the Bookkeeper:
strong working knowledge of both Sage and Excel and ideally CIS
attention to detail
excellent communication skills
ideally AAT qualified or part qualified, or bookkeeping equivalent (also happy to consider QBE)
flexible approach to work
minimum of 3 years previous bookkeeping experience within practice
