Job Description
The Cost Accountant's duties will include but are not limited to:
3. Preparation and review of the Sales and Cost of Sales Reconciliations leading to full product wide margin analysis
4. Coordination and collation of multi-site stock take and goods on monthly basis
5. Preparation of the Stock reconciliation and analysis
6. Preparation of monthly cost of materials
7. Reporting on site overheads and daily production to ascertain overhead costs
8. Shipping analysis and accruals
9. Assisting with production of accurate and timely management accounts for all legal entities
10. Work with the support functions to prepare the monthly management accounts
11. Assisting with production of forecasts and budgets
12. Prepare key KPI's (incl. Profitability, sales growth and overheads) for key monthly variances and prepare commentary for leadership
13. Improve and maintain periodic cash flow forecasting
14. Ad hoc duties as required
The Successful Applicant
A successful Cost Accountant should have:
15. Part or full qualification in ACA / ACCA / CIMA (or relevant experience).
16. Strong understanding of stock controls.
17. Experience working in a similar role in a busy finance function.
18. Excellent interpersonal skills to partner with relevant stakeholders.
19. Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
