Job Opportunity: Coordinator for Children’s Services

A service based in Kew is seeking a passionate and organized Coordinator for our children’s before and after school care. This is a permanent part-time position at 32.5 hours per week, all year round — the perfect balance!
Working hours are Monday – Friday, 7:00 - 9:00 AM (Rise then Shine) and 3:00 – 6:30 PM (Stay and Play Program), plus 5 additional admin hours. During school holidays, shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM will be available.
In addition to a competitive salary, benefits include a $1000 commencement bonus after the first month, another $1000 loyalty bonus at 12 months, split shift allowance, uniform allowance, and superannuation.
About the Role
Leading a team of Educators, you will manage a service at a primary school for children aged 5-12 years, working before and after school. You will have support from a dedicated regional manager and a state-specific office, with regular visits and mentorship.
* Develop and facilitate engaging, child-centered programs including STEM, sports, cooking, art, and craft.
* Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents.
* Lead onsite Educators, including roster management.
* Oversee daily operations, compliance, and administration.

Who Are We Looking For?
We can teach you about the sector, but you should have:
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Leadership abilities
* Willingness to obtain a national police check (paid for by us) and a state check for working with children
* Hold or be studying an ACECQA-approved qualification at Diploma level or higher
