Health & Leisure – Leisure Team Apprenticeship - Level 2
We’re looking for Leisure Team Apprentices to join us. Working in one of our 9 swimming pool facilities, you’ll be part of a team and experience a range of work activities, achieving qualifications in lifeguarding, swimming teaching, & gym instruction.
The Leisure Team Apprenticeship will give you experience in the leisure industry. It’s an ideal entry-level position for someone wanting a career within health, fitness & leisure; whether that’s your first, second, third, or more career!
To be successful, you’ll need to demonstrate good people skills and be happy to work in a variety of situations & teams. In leisure, we work when many don’t, so there’ll be shift work including early mornings, evenings, and weekends. You’ll also need to have a relatively good swimming ability & will complete a swimming test as part of the application process.

Apprenticeships @ Everybody
We recruited our first apprentices in 2015, and since then have employed 63 people in diverse roles. Some have progressed into management roles or are delivering Personal Trainer programmes for customers.
We work closely with our training providers to deliver high-quality apprenticeships that cover personal development, soft skills, and core educational elements.

Pay & Benefits
* 18-month (approx.) apprenticeship program
* 37 hours per week including early mornings, evenings & weekends (operational roles)
* Starting salary of £15,816 (current rates) per year for full-time, with 6-monthly performance-based pay rises
* 25 days annual leave (rising to 30 days after 5 years’ service)
