Overview
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering manufacturer for an experienced CNC Programmer to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is a great opportunity for a skilled programmer looking for long-term stability and excellent working hours, including an early finish on Fridays.
Hours of Work
* Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
* Friday: 7:30am – 12:30pm
Key Responsibilities
* Programming CNC machines from engineering drawings
* Working primarily with Mazak machines, preferably using Mazatrol controls
* Editing, proving, and optimising programs to improve efficiency
* Setting and operating machines as required
* Producing high-precision components to tight tolerances
* Carrying out self-inspection and ensuring quality standards are met
* Supporting continuous improvement within the machining department
Requirements
* Proven experience as a CNC Programmer in a precision engineering environment
* Strong experience with Mazak / Mazatrol programming (highly desirable)
* Able to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
* Good understanding of tooling, feeds, speeds, and materials
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
