Senior Cloud Systems Administrator(Night Shift) So, what’s the role all about? Cloud System Administrators ensure the security, reliability, and performance of the organization’s computing platforms, servers, and hardware. They proactively monitor systems, address incidents, and maintain both cloud and data center environments. By managing operating systems, applying updates, and optimizing infrastructure, they safeguard business continuity and enable seamless operations How will you make an impact? • Maintain, monitor, and support a production infrastructure environment • Supports multiple systems or applications of medium to high complexity • Follows defined procedures to monitor systems and resolve issues • Analyzes and reports on operational metrics to understand performance and ensure success in process improvements • Performs routine maintenance tasks for infrastructure systems such as backups, patching, application versions, etc. • Manage DNS, FTP, IIS, and Application environments • Set up and maintain server system and file security • Maintain documentation of servers and related infrastructure equipment • Participate in the On-Call rotation • Communicates events to stakeholders, teams, and leadership • Work with cabling, racking, and other tasks in Physical Data Centers (Some Travel May Be Required) • Create user accounts • Updating Production Server Resources and Sizing • Follow the company Code of Ethics and CXone policies and procedures at all times. Have you got what it takes? • Windows Server Operating System • Microsoft OS Patching and Critical Updates • Intermediate Level of System Troubleshooting Skills • 5 years working in a large production infrastructure • 5 years in Windows Server Administration in a Production Environment • 5 years configuring server hardware and OS • Knowledge of Windows Domains, Active Directory, DNS, Mail • Experience managing VMware environment • Experience working with Hardware Replacements/Vendor Work You will have an advantage if you also have: • Experience working in a PCI / Cyber Essentials compliant environment • Experience working with SAN • Experience working with Okta • Experience working with Change Management • Experience managing HP branded servers • Experience managing Cisco UCS • Linux administration • Experience monitoring and maintaining AWS environments. • Experience working with PowerShell and other scripting languages About NiCE NICE Ltd.
