The Role Our client is seeking a Setting Out Engineer to support piling, foundation and precast operations across the Island of Ireland. This role is ideal for an engineer with at least one year’s experience who is looking to progress their career within a well-established and growing business. Key Responsibilities · Setting out works using Total Station equipment · Interpreting and working from CAD drawings · Assisting with site surveys and as-built records · Liaising with site teams, project managers and subcontractors · Ensuring works are delivered accurately, safely and in line with programme · Supporting quality control and compliance with project specifications Candidate Requirements · Minimum 1 year’s experience in a setting out role · Proven experience using Total Station · Strong working knowledge of CAD · Good understanding of construction site practices · Full, clean UK driving licence (essential) · Permanent right to work in the UK (essential) · Willingness to travel nationwide What’s on Offer · Competitive salary £24,000 – £27,000 DOE · Company van included · Long-term, stable employment · Exposure to major projects across multiple sectors · Clear progression pathway to Contracts Manager · Supportive team environment with ongoing development Applicants must have the permanent right to work in the UK or Ireland (e.g. Indefinite Leave to Remain, Settled Status, UK/ROI Citizenship).
