Position Overview Ithaca Energy is accepting applications for two Project Engineer positions, located in our Aberdeen Office. Reporting to the Development Projects and Engineering Manager, the two Project Engineers will Deliver quality and ensure consistency for all Subsea and/or Topside Engineering of the assigned Project ensure the highest technical and safety standard, focusing on value creation and project delivery. Responsibilit ies Support the Development Projects and Engineering Manager or Project Manager in Subsea and/or Topside Engineering activities throughout the Project lifecycle by: Developing project management and engineering deliverables from the Assess to the Execute Phase Input to functional and technical specifications. Performing technical and commercial evaluation of tenders. Providing technical and delivery assistance during detail engineering, construction, installation, hook-up and commissioning. Overseeing engineering team and site supervisors Overseeing engineering contractors Moreover, will be involved in: Influencing and coordinating multidisciplinary teams for the completion of the relevant Project Phase, in accordance with the approved program, within the budget and to the specific standards. Identifying, managing and maintaining visibility of risks and opportunities relevant to area of responsibility. Develop and communicate mitigation and contingency plans as appropriate. Maintaining formal records relating to actions, decisions, technical queries, concession requests, interfaces, change management, variation control PLANC, and project delivery and assurance. Supporting technical evaluation of bids, enquiries, proposals and potential solutions, as appropriate. Preparation of project management deliverables as per company requirements, e.g. project delivery / gate processes. Qualifications & Experience Qualified at HNC level or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline. Proven track record working in project co-ordination/engineering or a relevant engineering discipline of offshore oil & gas capital projects. Valid offshore survival and medical preferred. Thorough understanding of: HSEQ: including safety analysis, preparation of PQP, HAZOP, HAZID, SIMOPS and Environmental studies Engineering, construction, inspection and expediting, installation and commissioning, QA/QC for onshore development ITT Preparation: technical. Basic understanding of: Familiarity of facilities design and analysis incorporating knowledge of wells, subsea and topsides facilities Project management: contracting strategies, program and budget, planning and control, cost estimate, economic assessment, contractor management, JV management and risk management ITT Preparation: commercial and contractual evaluation.
