The Role
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed class teacher to cover a period of maternity leave. This role includes responsibility for a Reception / Year 1 class.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching that supports both the academic and pastoral development of pupils. You will create a caring and purposeful classroom environment, plan engaging learning experiences aligned with the National Curriculum, and ensure that every child is supported to make strong progress.
You will work closely with colleagues, support staff and parents to maintain high standards of behaviour, learning and wellbeing. As part of our team, you will contribute to the wider life of the school and uphold our ethos and values in all aspects of your work.

What We’re Looking For
1. Qualified Teacher Status
2. A good honours degree
3. Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and/or Key Stage One curriculum
4. The ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that promote progress for all pupils
5. High expectations for behaviour, achievement and personal development
6. A reflective practitioner committed to continuous professional development
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
8. A collaborative approach to working with colleagues, parents and external professionals
9. Commitment to contributing to the wider life of the school
