Job Description
3. Prepare and analyse financial reports, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and month/year‑end processes.
4. Maintain strong financial controls, oversee audit preparation, and ensure compliance with standards.
5. Manage stock accounting, including reconciliations, variances, accruals, and provisioning.
6. Maintain capitalised R&D and fixed asset records, including cashflow reporting for related projects.
7. Support payroll review, balance sheet reconciliations, and National Statistics submissions.
8. Assist with supplier approvals, IR35 compliance, and UK banking matters.
9. Partner with internal teams to provide financial insight, improve processes, and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
10. a full qualification in either ACA, ACCA, CIMA
11. Proven experience in reporting and analysis.
12. Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.
13. understanding of maintaining stock assets
14. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
15. The ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
16. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
