In this role, you'll play a critical part in delivering accurate, compliant and high-quality HR and payroll services across the employee lifecycle. Acting as a subject matter expert, you'll support complex activities and queries while helping to ensure consistent, efficient and reliable service delivery. Payroll - Own HR payroll processes, ensuring accurate, validated inputs delivered to deadlines - Review/validate Coordinator data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance - Resolve discrepancies with payroll providers and stakeholders - Act as escalation point for payroll queries, ensuring timely resolution - Improve payroll processes, controls, and data integrity Employee Relations & Case Management - Lead routine ER casework (e.g. absence, flexible working) with consistent policy application - Maintain accurate documentation and tracking in line with timelines and standards - Identify trends, escalating risks and recommending improvements Customer Experience & Stakeholder Support - Use feedback, case trends, and HR data to improve employee experience - Partner with HR teams/stakeholders to enhance service delivery - Provide timely, accurate HR support (portal, phone, face-to-face) - Act as trusted contact on pensions, benefits, policies, and procedures HR Operations & Lifecycle Delivery - Support Coordinators on complex/non-routine processes - Ensure continuity during peak periods and absences - Conduct exit interviews and analyse trends to inform People Partners Data Reporting & Compliance - Monitor HR data for anomalies, risks, and trends - Support reporting and insight generation - Ensure compliance with policies, governance, and regulations - Support audits, data validation, and DSAR processes Continuous Improvement & Process Optimisation - Identify improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors - Lead/contribute to improvement initiatives - Support implementation of new processes and systems - Maintain and update HR checklists - Analyse issues and recommend corrective actions - Provide cover for the Team Leader But what else?
