Position Overview
The Production Manager leads manufacturing operations at the Tamworth site, reporting to the Plant Manager. This role drives a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence to meet customer requirements. The position collaborates with regional and global teams to implement systems and processes that elevate Tamworth to best-in-class performance.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Champion safety as a core value and ensure compliance with all regulations.
2. Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including housekeeping and 5S.
3. Mentor and develop Team Leaders and field experts to build an engaged workforce.
4. Align Tamworth operations with site and company strategic priorities.
5. Implement management systems to monitor and improve performance.
6. Ensure on-time delivery of quality products that meet customer needs.
7. Manage operational and capital budgets, driving cost control and efficiency.
8. Foster collaboration across commercial, supply chain, HR, finance, and R&D teams.
9. Build strong stakeholder relationships and manage expectations effectively.
10. Promote H.B. Fuller competencies such as innovation, accountability, and teamwork.
Minimum Requirements
11. Bachelor’s degree in a scientific/engineering discipline or equivalent qualification (e.g. HNC, NVQ) or relevant work experience.
12. 5+ years of progressive operations experience in manufacturing.
13. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
14. Strong coaching, communication, and collaboration abilities.
15. Ability to manage conflict and escalate issues appropriately.
16. Fluency in English.

19. Process Safety Management experience.
20. Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt).
