Protocol Education supports Primary Schools across Gateshead, placing KS1 Teaching Assistants into full-time classroom roles where consistency and care really matter.
The role will involve:
1. Supporting KS1 pupils in the classroom
2. Helping children settle into daily routines
3. Assisting with phonics, early reading and number work
4. Offering reassurance and encouragement throughout the day
5. Working closely with the class teacher
We’re looking for someone who:
6. Has experience working with children
7. Is patient, nurturing and reliable
8. Enjoys supporting early learning
9. Can commit to full-time hours
10. Has the right to work in the UK
11. Holds a DBS, or is happy to apply
